Pros

The family of doctors are all well-educated.

Cons

Don't let their fake humility fool you, the American Cannabinoid Clinics is run by a family who is interested in one thing....what's best for the family. Anyone working there who isn't family will always be marginalized. It starts at the top with the founder of the organization who is an anesthesiologist. She's also an enabler. She raised her kids to be successful, and in her eyes they can do no wrong. If there was a disagreement between us and them, she allowed her daughter (who is one of the full time doctors, and also the other face of the organization) to berate employees with her arrogant, condescending tone meeting after meeting. The daughter has a superiority complex in the worst way, and talks down to everyone. It was common for her to interrupt other employees on meetings and talk over them like they didn't matter. However, once you get her on camera, she turns on the charm and is pretty convincing as a media persona. They all are, and that's the beauty of media...you can project the image of angels, but when the camera is off you see who they really are. At one point, the daughter went onto our Facebook page and deleted a significant amount of hard work because it wasn't up to her standard. Along the way, one member of the team went above and beyond and created a whole new brand for the company as extra credit. It was quite a bit of work. Their attorney, and also a family member thought it was reasonable that the team member should be compensated for that work. So, in March of 2018 the family attorney arranged a binding agreement for the company to pay the team member some money, which was really helpful since that member has young kids who need to eat. On the team member's side of the agreement the team member agreed to remove their branding off the Facebook page and give up all claims to the work performed. On the family's side of the agreement, they agreed to compensate the team member $5,500 (which was discounted). The team member satisfied their side of the agreement. Sadly, days went by and no payment. Days turned into weeks and not only was there no payment, but the family started ignoring requests to keep their word. Almost a year later, not only are they not going to pay the money owed, but they're using every weak excuse in the book to weasel out of upholding their end of the deal. It's appalling to experience a lack of integrity to this magnitude. Moreover, who would take food out of a kid's mouth? That's just rude.
