Pros

I started working at Argentum when I was first starting out and they really went the extra mile to make me feel welcome and train me from the beginning. Was there for a good 3 years, learned a lot, had a great working environment, along with diverse and friendly colleagues. I got to learn from the directors, Lloyd and Martin, who were attentive to employees needs and really took care of their clients. If you push yourself and do well there’s plenty of compensation and you are quickly given more responsibilities if you prove reliable. The office is really nice, and great place to work. It is the top advisory in Japan, and so I think it’s a great place to start out you career. The directors still keep a friendly relationship with me even after I left, and were very supportive with helping me find my next challenge. - Work closely with the senior advisors - Opportunity to learn from the best - Opens doors for future career opportunities - Diverse & friendly team - Competitively friendly environment - Great on job training - Top advisory in Japan

Cons

- Not a 9-5 job, need to perform - No chance to use Japanese - First couple months can be really tough - Directors are busy, and training time is sometimes limited - Having to talk to international business partners and clients in different times

Pros

The people in the office are some of the most genuine people I've worked with. There's a real sense of "eating what you kill" and just being honest, whether that's to clients or to coworkers. Conversations are always entertaining and the mentorship opportunities given by the bosses were really great. They won't bring you in unless you have that killer instinct to bring in clients, but when you're in the office they do everything they can to help teach you about being as effective as possible. Out-of-office outings were always a good time and were some of the highlights of the experience. People who mostly work remotely come out and it's always fun to get to know the guys you've only seen as digital heads in a chat bubble.

Cons

Not everyone would be in the office together. Often times it will just be the front-of-house staff and maybe the two bosses. Often times the advisors would work remotely. It sucked to not be able to work alongside them, however the few times I got to work with them were really powerful. If you need everyone to be in the office together to enjoy the culture then this might not be the best fit for you.
