Pros
Remote work environment, laid back and pleasant coworkers, work life balance was good for my team. Somewhat flexible schedule, unlimited PTO that we were actually encouraged to use, decent benefits while I had them.
Cons
Compensation was always under market value. Zero accountability from upper leadership for their employees. Was told repeatedly we are not hurting for cash, then all hands meetings kept getting canceled like they were avoiding us, and then surprise layoffs came with no severance because “the company has no money.” Don’t think they’ll be hiring anytime soon, but I wouldn’t risk your livelihood to this place in the future. Leadership has repeatedly shown they will axe you to save themselves. Company has no real direction, little room for growth in the current market, and now they have no real staff to expand.
