Pros
Prior to my layoff with 60% of the staff, this was the best company I've worked for. Amazing team with no competition and great collaboration. All my managers from the VP of Engineering down were incredible, particularly in their transparency, willingness to listen, and focus on their direct reports as people not cogs in a machine. If they survive their current financial instability, I'd highly recommend.
Cons
The CEO kinda sucked. He didn't really listen to criticisms, and wasn't very transparent about the financial stability of the company, as well as no notice, no severance mass layoffs. There was an accidental, nobody's fault incident with a team dinner in a location that made some female staff feel very uncomfortable due to unexpected nude art all over the walls. Wouldn't have been a big deal but the CEO didn't want to acknowledge any error and had HR tell teams leads to deal with any complaints at their level.
