Pros
This hospital is positioned well in the future of healthcare. There is strong leadership with dynamic personalities that will guide Baycrest forward, especially in a climate of limited public funding. Baycrest has a lot of promise. On a more practical note, Baycrest offers good benefits, pension (HOOPP), ample affordable parking, and an emphasis on work-life balance.
Cons
There can be an initial 'coldness' to the work environment. It's a large campus with many different types of services and it can lack a family feel. There is also areas with large turn-over, so longer employed staff have a tendency to not trust/welcome newbies.
