Pros
On paper and in practice this is a great job. Cool coworkers, reasonable workload, very generous benefits. Working on new projects can be interesting for a while I don't regret working here. But once the initial excitement wears off, the problems become apparent.
Cons
Slackers aren't punished, those who put in real effort aren't rewarded. Advancement comes down to lucky timing or nepotism. Company is no longer interested in making industry leading games, just whatever sells. Oh and crunch can get pretty bad, but it's good if you want the OT. If your interested in a comfortable office payroll, it'll work. If you're looking for opportunities to prove yourself or start a real career, you won't find them.
