Pros
I have been in outside sales for nine years now. I have sold marketing/advertising, LTL shipping, and for a very short time cars. I love sales but do not like to be micro managed. Bolt is my dream come true!! I am not micro managed here. As long as I do what needs to be done and bring in the numbers that I myself have promised to the company I am left alone. The fact that I set my own goals is also amazing. My boss sets expectations but I am the one who sets the final goal. There is also no glass ceiling, and no cap on commission. I have worked for companies that the more you sell the more they increase your goals making it eventually almost impossible to make commission. This will never happen here. Did I mention how much fun it is here? We are required to be professional in the field but the office is like a big family full of goofballs!! Its nice to be able to have fun in your office while making money at the same time. This being a large item sale the money is great! Its not all about money though. It gives me warm fuzzies going home knowing I've helped someone. We deal with more than just insurance claims however helping people through the process is my favorite part of the job . All in all I can honestly say I love my job. I finally have a product that is a true need for my customer, the money I want to be making, co-workers I couldn't imagine being without, and a company that I believe in.
Cons
Working in restoration can be effected by the weather. Thankfully we offer products and services that we can sell in the winter but Its much slower in the months of January and February which means more busy work and less actual sales activity.
