Burke Consortium is a small company that offers great experience working as a support contractor and offers these experiences with several agencies in the federal government. Although an IT company, Burke Consoritium allows for employee growth in areas outside of IT as well. Due to it's size, employees gain knowledge and understanding of the operations of a government contracting company that might not be experienced at a larger company. The people are also friendly and eager to help each other out. Janey Nodeen, the CEO, also ensures her employees are well taken care of inside and outside of the office.
Cons
Although Burke Consortium offers many advantages due to its size, there are not always advancement opportunities. However, employees may help their professional advancement by taking the initiative to obtain various certifications related to their field.
