      Pros

      Camp Lohikan is a fun place to work for a summer or two before getting a "real" job. The campers are great and the administration appreciate counselors who put real effort in their work.

      Cons

      It was sometimes difficult to answer to multiple supervises who wanted different things from me. Made some days harder than others.

      Pros

      Nice to meet so many people from all around the world

      Cons

      This camp tries to save money on not completing certain safety requirements. Such as rock climbing gear is way too old and dangerous. A cabin burned down because of their neglect. And an employee had a serious injury caused by a faulty firework on the 4th of July. In 2024 there was no water the whole summer on the boys side so they couldn't shower and had to go outside if they needed to go to the toilet. The majority of the leaders of this camp are grooming children and there is nobody to report that to.
