Pros

Corporate purpose is a higher calling than just selling food, quality people, consistent company growth means lots of new ideas and opportunities, good benefits

Cons

Staffing has always been on the lean side, so there is lots more to do than there is capacity. There can be a gap between the rewards for people working on the new, cool initiatives and the people working to support the core business.

Pros

1 free meal a shift (no free lemonade/specialty drinks) Free food only on Saturday closing shifts 50% discount Point reward system Flexible scheduling Informative apps Practice assembly, efficiency, communication. Can play music in the back of house Decent for getting management experience (after 6 months) Management receives more hours than team members, whether requested or not.

Cons

Extremely stressful work environment due to brand popularity Shifts feel long regardless of type You may ask for # of set hours, but they’ll undershoot it majority of the time. The franchise will severely pay low hourly wage regardless of your experience ($12.75) for 10+ years of food & hospitality Won’t honor their training promotions Intensively demanding work, as you’ll be busy ALL shift Wastes hundreds of pounds of meat, bread, and salads, but doesn’t allow employees to take any home. (Even-though they’ll donate to the same food pantry anyway for tax write-offs) You’ll pay $150 for your uniform, and they won’t refund you. Even if they’re (hardly ever) slow, management won’t allow employees to discuss real issues amongst their community, but overlooks management promoting pill-popping and narcs. I’ve seen more indigenous American women being made to do work this franchise reserves for men. They are supposed to rotate positions, but you’ll see the same type of males posted at “easy” stations. Store operator is creepy with associates and detached with restaurant culture.
