7yWe’re glad that you find Clarifai’s work and technology interesting and exciting. We also appreciate your feedback in the areas where you see room for improvement, specifically our day-to-day operations and salary/performance reviews.
To address some of your concerns:
All Clarifai employees have access to a professional development stipend and an educational reimbursement program meant to either provide funds for attending conferences, trainings, seminars, and other activities or to take outside classes to further their skills. We see this as invaluable for our employees and company as a whole company as well as a wonderful way to embody Learning, which is one of our core values. If you’ve had a problem getting self-development approved, please speak to your manager or come talk to one of our HR business partners. We are working hard to make Clarifai a great place to work - shown by the expansion of our People team in the last six months.
Our weekly All Hands meetings are intended to provide insight into everything going on in the company - from various teams’ goals to company-wide initiatives and changes. We dedicated an All Hands in Fall 2018 to answer some of the common questions around Clarifai’s work with the government, but if you still have questions, we encourage you to ask them.
