Pros
I've been reading some comments about Clover on Glassdoor, but the most recent comments are way too biased (for a good reason, given the survey sampling bias).
I can't speak for the other teams, but as for actuarial department, we have successfully hired one of the most talented actuaries in the industry, and the middle-level management has done a great job giving liberating experiences (in terms of opportunities to learn, start & lead projects, etc), to the analyst/entry-level hires.
Culture is great that we really try to enforce collaborative environment (sometimes could lead to inefficiencies, but gains from collaboration outweigh the efficiency loss).
For individuals who are willing to learn how to code and think critically about designing infrastructures for actuarial models, statistical models, you have more than enough opportunities within the firm.
Free food, snacks, recently revamped 4% matching 401K, commuter benefits.
Cons
Broad company-wide goals.
A bit wasteful spending culture (travel is quite frequent between the two offices and it can get pretty pricey to cover ALL the travels we currently do).
