Pros

Years later, I still think about my internship with the Clippers. First, it's a "rotating" internship, so you'll be exposed to sales, marketing, events, ballpark operations, etc. all in one summer. You also get exposed to a ton of cool, behind-the-scenes stuff which is great as a sports fan. The entire front office staff is truly amazing. They genuinely care about the interns and are beyond willing to help you learn & grow throughout your internship. The training process is intense... basically, a packet of info that you'll randomly be quizzed on... but SO worth it, as it really prepares you for a season full of questions from customers. I've yet to have a training process develop me into a confident (and competent!) employee as well as with the Clippers.

Cons

Lots of hours (look at the schedule before applying to see if it's right for you). Pay is minimal.

Pros

Hands on experience with all things management related (ticket sales, events, promotions, game day operations, etc.) Great exposure to the baseball industry & other opportunities within sports Office environment is great--very relaxed, fun culture Front office staff are great teachers--very welcoming and patient--and trust interns with many responsibilities (especially during the game)

Cons

Pay isn't great (like most jobs in sports) and you're required to work every home game and all special events--very time consuming
