Pros
1. Insurance starts immediately. 2. If you have a good provider, the job can be fun.
Cons
1. Pay is unrealistically low, $17-19 an hour. 2. Raises are low, annually 35-50 cents. 3. Hours are long. You'll be too exhausted on your days off from the long hours that you won't have any work life balance. 4. Dangerous, you may work alone (with unhappy and unstable patients) and leave the store late alone. 5. No room for growth. At all. 6. If you have a terrible provider, the job is miserable. (treats you as a janitor, talks down to you in front of patients) 7. Training is a joke. You learn on your own. 8. Techs are taken advantage of, shamed and bullied into traveling to other clinics to help out (not your job) 9. Most techs learn (by pharmacies being next door) that pharmacy techs can make up to $10/hr MORE than clinics and only work 8 hr shifts.
