There’s some form of autonomy if you can present well and prove your case. Decent office.
Cons
Simply zero structure in everything, marketing planning, data system, promotions, appraisals, etc. Some
mid to higher management level is incompetent but depends on team as well, changes things last minute, a yes man and plays politics. Do well and you get punished with more things to do. Bosses value operations people more than marketing. Bonuses are dependent on both likability and performance, no proper appraisal or goals setting process.
