Pros
Colleagues are the only reason people manage to stay as long as they do.
Cons
Management is controlling, inconsistent, and heavily driven by micromanagement. There is a clear lack of trust towards employees, you are not allowed to work at your own pace, and there is constant monitoring of work through daily worklogs.
On top of that, there are unnecessary administrative requirements such as having to submit detailed drafting/work lists on a weekly basis, which feels excessive and counterproductive for a professional working environment. It gives more of a “school-like” oversight rather than a workplace built on trust and competence.
There is also an expectation to be available beyond working hours despite saying otherwise publicly. Deadlines are unrealistic, instructions are often unclear, and yet accountability is pushed downwards.
Workload is excessive and does not match the salary. Last-minute tasks are common, and you are expected to deliver immediately regardless of existing commitments. Internal processes (SOPs) change frequently without proper communication, creating confusion and pressure.
The environment is stressful and draining. Feedback is often delivered through criticism rather than proper guidance. There is a clear disconnect between how the firm presents itself externally and what actually happens internally.
Turnover is very high. It is not uncommon to see people leave within a short period of time, including during probation. Even pupils have chosen to discontinue midway or withdraw before completing their process, which says a lot about the environment.
P/s Don’t rely too much on the positive reviews here, some are not as organic as they seem :)
