Pros

Nothing in particular (people are good - but that's the case everywhere)

Cons

- Location is not well connected to use any public transport - No in house canteen or good food outlets nearby - Policies change without any notice - No flexibility whatsoever - You will anyhow need to complete a 9 hour shift like a labourer - 1 WC per floor - you need to stand in queues to use it (worst than a public toilet) - Hybrid changes to on site in a day without any consideration of employees (dictatorship, not democracy) - No space to sit - you will need to sit anywhere and work or come early if you want a 'normal/expected' sitting arrangement that offices provide (same as a local train)

The Small Big Idea Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we respect individual perspectives, several points mentioned appear exaggerated and do not reflect the experience of the broader team. Our office operates across four floors with adequate seating capacity with designated workspaces for teams. As with most growing organizations, occasional seating adjustments may happen based on team requirements, but the suggestion that employees do not have space to work is inaccurate. Regarding the 5-day work-from-office model, the transition was always communicated as a possibility as business needs evolved, so it was neither sudden nor unexpected. Comments about the location and lack of food options are also misleading. The office is located in an area surrounded by residential and commercial establishments, with eateries nearby and easy access to delivery services. We value balanced and constructive feedback. However, isolated dissatisfaction, particularly when accompanied by exaggeration, does not reflect the overall employee experience. Professional commitments, including serving notice periods, are equally important in maintaining fairness on both sides. We wish you the best in finding an environment that aligns better with your expectations.
