Good internship for students/graduates looking to gain professional experience - Community Centre Intern Restorative Justice for All International Institute Employee Review

Good entry opportunity for those interested in getting into the world of publishing and academia, I learned a lot about the what goes into publishing books and journals as well as how distribution works.

As is the nature of remote internships, it was a bit isolating from the organization itself.

This is a unique organisation run by an inspirational leader and supported by a passionate team of paid and unpaid people. The spirit of the community and the values that this organisation promotes are embedded in everything that they do especially their HR and how they treat their staff. I worked on 2 different projects on a contract basis and not only enjoyed my time but also learned a lot from everyone.

As with all NGOs, resources are scant and this organisation though punches above their weight is seriously limited by funding. There is no fundraiser and this puts a burden on project staff and the Director.
