Pros

Good pay for what you do. Hands on training. A lot of growth and advancement opportunities if you're willing to put in the work

Cons

Typical growing pains. Xcite seems to be a combination of a couple different companies mashed together. There are a couple inconsistent processes and procedures, however, management seems to be really pushing to get things right.

Pros

This is an easy job as long as you can self manage. You show up on time, talk to car dealers, make sure your work is done right, and leave. If you don't have enough work, you can go sell Xcite services to other dealers and the company will pay you to bring them on board. Flexible hours too as long as your work for the day is done. Managers have your back if there's a problem with your dealer.

Cons

Working outside unless it is raining, sometimes long drives to dealers but they pay you hourly and mileage, if your dealer cancels you can lose your job.

Pros

If your a photographer already. This job is easy. Pto accumulation is good.

Cons

Working outside in the elements is NOT worth the money. Especially if you dont get a raise yearly. Raises are never discussed. Only more work or higher expectations are implemented. So, its not worth staying with the company long term. Manager complains in meetings about not being able to stay home to work. While all their employees are out in the elements. The mileage compensation is a joke. All this company does is act as the middle man to photographers. Dealerships would be better off hiring their own employee to shoot their cars or going with an independent photographer. They would save so much money. You have to clean off cars of snow and work in un-plowed lots. Dealerships are never held accountable for their lack of vehicles show room readiness. You are expected to detail and wipe down cars. They want to be #1 in car photography but not #1 to their employees. Save yourself from frost bite and skin cancer.
