Pros

Stability, low work load, environment

Cons

Terrible management who knows nothing about the industry. Terrible learning curve you will learn nothing there. Salary is below or average the market. On site every single day. No privacy at work cameras are recording you everywhere and they have an auditing team on cameras so you feel watched on every single movement.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for recognizing stability, light workload, and the environment as positives these reflect the same environment you later described under “cons”, which actually shows how each person’s experience can vary depending on engagement and communication. At Boutiqaat, we’re proud of the technologies and frameworks we work with from modern Java and .NET microservices to advanced e-commerce architecture. The learning curve here is strong; many of our team members joined early in their careers and have since grown into key roles. If you faced challenges learning or felt unsupported, we encourage open communication with your direct lead that’s exactly how we help people grow. Regarding salaries, as of this year, our packages are aligned with (and in many cases above) the market. We also continuously review and adjust them to stay competitive. Our on-site model is by design it keeps collaboration high and communication fast across our multi-country teams. As for cameras, they’re standard for security and safety, not for monitoring individuals. No one is tracked for their movement that’s simply not part of our culture. BTW Cameras do exist in all companies so why not us!. We’d also like to highlight what you didn’t mention: Two annual bonuses (yearly and cumulative) Flexible work hours and permission policies Team events and gatherings throughout the year A genuinely supportive and inclusive environment We always welcome feedback, but it’s important to keep it fair and complete sharing both pros and cons helps readers get a balanced view and maintains trust. If you’re still part of the team or wish to clarify any concerns, please reach out directly to your lead or HR we’ll be happy to listen and help.

Pros

They give meal every two weeks

Cons

There no real structure. Overtime is not paid, they give 1 to 1 hours , so if you work on holidays 8 hours you only get 8 hours , so they can waste your life and not even paying . Most managers are not qualified. Everything is a miss Salary is low Turn over is high, to fix it they make employees sign new contract with 3 months notice period. No flexibility . Very bad communication system

They are not “meals.” They are a regular team gathering events organized to strengthen collaboration and maintain a healthy and positive work environment. False or heavily exaggerated comments can unfairly cause talented professionals to miss genuine career opportunities within a strong, fast-growing, and enterprise-scale technology environment. Boutiqaat is not a small startup. We are an enterprise organization with more than 2,000 employees operating across Kuwait, GCC countries, India, Egypt, and South Korea, serving millions of users and running large-scale business and technology operations across multiple regions. Constructive feedback is always respected, and no company is perfect. However, turning personal dissatisfaction into generalized statements about an entire organization is neither balanced nor professional. For example, statements such as “most managers are not qualified” are simply inaccurate. Many of our engineering and technology leaders come from globally recognized companies and enterprise environments including Amazon, Agoda, Publicis Sapient, Arrow, and other major organizations. Our teams work on enterprise-grade platforms, modern cloud-native architectures, AI initiatives, large-scale distributed systems, and high-traffic e-commerce technologies used across the GCC. • Boutiqaat provides open contracts, annual increments, performance bonuses, incentive rewards, employee events, incremental bonus after the third year and a collaborative working environment at one of the best places in Cairo. • We also invest heavily in engineering productivity and modern technologies, including providing AI-powered coding and engineering tools to our technology teams to help them learn, innovate, and work more efficiently. As for compensation, with a technology organization consisting of dozens of engineers and specialists across multiple domains, it simply would not be possible to recruit and retain this level of talent if compensation was genuinely below market standards. Most importantly, while many companies globally continue to go through waves of layoffs and instability, Boutiqaat continues investing in its people, technology, and long-term growth. You will not hear regular layoff news coming from our organization because we focus on building sustainable teams and long-term value. Like any serious enterprise environment, expectations are high, accountability exists, and the pace can be demanding. That environment may not suit everyone, and that is completely fine. But fairness and professionalism matter when sharing public feedback that can influence other people’s careers and decisions.
