Pros
The building was close to my home.
Cons
I worked there a week before they fired me because “I wasn’t a good fit.” The secretary refused to elaborate when I asked her for specifics. - There was no job description, so I had no expectations of how my performance would be measured and how to improve, and I was given no title. - Incredibly low pay. I asked for $25-28/hr, and had to settle for a meager $20/hr. - No benefits until after a year, and even then, they were next to nothing. - No one was prepared for me to start training, even though I was hired two weeks prior to starting. The tech wasn’t working half the time, and there was a lot of wasted time that could have been put to good use. - Sexual harassment incidents amongst coworkers are frequent, and the management and owners don’t do anything to prevent it and protect colleagues, even though there are clear guidelines that are signed by every employee in the employee policy handbook.
