Fellow employees make the job great/bearable, that’s if you fit in.
Cons
Unfair pay compensation, especially if you do well at your job, you will be expected to pick up slack from underperforming colleagues (that are paid more). Management is poorly run and needs immense improvement. Some managers prioritize themselves, not coming in or showing up very late or putting their work on people in their departments. If you tell them anything in confidence, expect everyone to know the next day. Highly lacks any professionalism on all levels of management. If they do not like you or your personality, it will be known and they will silently fire you. I’ve seen it multiple times. Don’t think about having a life during any holiday, you are expected to work and cannot request anytime off during that whole time, unless you wanna put up a serious fight. It’s very busy during holidays, you put out a lot of product, for a very small holiday bonus if you even get one. Work environment is hostile, and toxic, and you will see that and hate it even if you get along great with people. It takes a toll on just about everyone. Not to mention, lack of cleanliness and hygiene from all level of employees and the work environment. That’s a battle in itself.
