Well-balanced internship - Marketing Intern Visual Studio Singapore Employee Review

- Very hands on, bosses will assign events to u and guide u even if u have 0 experience - The company works with a number of well known clients in SG, so IMO its great bc ull eventually get to work with them so + exposure with large names - Company is mostly women when i was there except for the 3 bosses, pretty close knit community bc its not such a large team - The whole team consisted of about 3-4 interns so atleast it was def v easy to make friends & get close as we were all the ard the same age - Manager was helpful and will guide u even as a newbie with no experience

- OT hours during peak event periods were a must (doesnt matter if u were intern or ft, if its ur event u have to OT for event setup etc) - OT reimbursed in the form of off in lieu but it never really tallied like 4h of OT =/= 4h of off in lieu haha - Really feel like a FT even as an intern haha, will get stressful during peak periods - Need to learn how to work and not crack under pressure - Pay could have been better

You learn a lot of things from this position.

It gets very hectic, very stressful, and the pay/allowance is very little.
