Poor facilities Unattainable commission targets Extra work responsibilities for no extra pay No defined job description to cover both front of house and customer service Took over a year to get a microwave in spa so we could hear food. Often left to work alone All members of therapists quit within 2 months and I was left alone as the only member of staff. Did not pay in to my pension and I was receiving letters monthly advising they weren't paying. When we had issues with sewage smells and sent photos of cockroaches therapists were brought in to deep clean although they weren't employed to do so.

I’ve really enjoyed working as a freelance therapist with PURE Spa & Beauty. From the start, the team have been welcoming, professional, and incredibly organised. PURE provides a well structured environment where everything is prepared for you from client bookings to treatment rooms and product supplies. It allows me to focus purely on delivering the best service to clients without worrying about the operational side. The spas are always clean, calm, and professionally run, creating a great atmosphere to work in. One of the things I appreciate most is the flexibility they offer. It’s been perfect for balancing freelance work with my personal schedule, and there’s always the opportunity to pick up more shifts if you want. The work is rewarding, the clients are lovely, and there’s a real pride in the level of service PURE expects which matches the high standards I set for myself. I would definitely recommend PURE Spa & Beauty to any freelance therapist looking for reliable, enjoyable, and well-supported work opportunities.
