Pros
Fun job, some customers are great
Local teams are great
Cons
-Upper management and CEO is incredibly toxic and manipulative
-Most work is getting taken over by AI or outsourced to people that have no idea how things work
-No proper cohesion between the stores
-No proper procedures between stores, every store runs on their own terms
-Minimum wage no matter what, even if you are appointed supervisor they will pay minimum wage and ignore any requests for proper compensation
-Management is incredibly hateful towards employees who aren't performing perfectly
-HR will happily break fair work laws
-Any issues staff are having will be ignored by local and upper management
-Store safety standards are completely ignored, no staff are trained on safety and emergency protocols
-Any of the old stores are practically abandoned, no proper stock, no supplies
-Management has expressed multiple times their willingness to deceive customers to drive more traffic
-Unrealistic expectations from staff regarding hardware related services
-Backend is a horrible mess, navigating is hell for new hires
-Backend devs refuse to add anything, when issues are pointed out they insist it isn't an issue and will attempt to gaslight staff into thinking it is working
-HR has shown they are happy to cut staff hours even at successful stores
-HR has asked staff to work 6 days at a very busy store solo while juggling sales, online orders, deliveries and processing entire pallets worth of stock
-Upper management is completely incapable of looking from the outside in, they can't see problems unless it's regarding lawsuits for taking 6 months to process a warranty, which also got outsourced
