Pros

Hands-on experience with real clients . I had the opportunity to work on 10+ KOL marketing campaigns for recognizable brands, which helped me understand real industry workflows.

Cons

During peak campaign periods, the workload increases significantly, especially when handling many KOLs at once. A lot of the work involves manual sourcing, updating sheets, and following up with influencers, which can feel repetitive over time.

-Nearby got a lot of restaurant, easy to find food. -No traffic jam.

Mismatch between job scope and offer letter -The tasks given were very different from what was stated in the offer letter. -The job scope did not state that interns needed to do cold calling, bring in sales, or hit KPIs. Use of Personal Resources -Interns must use their own laptops, phones, and social media for work. Unreasonable Workload -Unlimited tasks from different departments and need to assist different leaders. -High workload and expectations. -Tasks are often given with tight deadlines, with constant rushing. -Interns were expected to continue working from home after office hours. -Daily cold calling led to negative reactions from annoyed clients, damaging confidence and morale. -Tasks that should be handled by managers or full-time staff were pushed onto interns. -Interns are given full-timer responsibilities instead of assisting. Lack of Guidance -Lack of clear guidance of company background. -Lack of clear guidance from the supervisor. -Lack of clear direction leaves interns confused about tasks. -No proper guidance, expect intern knows everything. Misrepresentation of intern role -Interns were instructed to pose as full-time employees when dealing with clients. Unhelpful HR and management -HR and management offered little support or assistance when issues were raised. Lack of Allowances -No parking allowance or basic support was provided for interns. Toxic Work Culture -Managers often displayed toxic behavior, lacked teamwork, and created a hostile environment. Emotional Stress -The strict environment created constant pressure and stress. -The company culture tends to strongly instill their way of thinking, leaving little room for interns to develop their own opinion.
