Pros

This is mostly an R&D environment. Might be interesting for recent graduates.

Cons

There is a lack of leadership and unclear decision-making from management. It is difficult to identify who is ultimately in charge or accountable for decisions. Company goals are not shared with employees transparently. Employees are expected to work long hours without compensation, while the salaries remain average compared to industry standards.

Pros

It is honestly difficult to give any pros over my previous experiences.

Cons

- Extremely low pay. - Promises of Stock options every year which never realized. - No option to work remotely for any number of days per week. - The admin systems of this company is non-existing. - At the end of each year the company expects you to give an internal review to them, with the promise that you will get an accessment in Jan/Feb the next year. However, in all my years of working at Anyon, I rarely had a performance review. Generally, the CEO would just "Yolo" these reviews and randomly select people he wants to give "rants" to. - This is not a company, it's an expensive, privatized research lab. It is being run like one too. The CEO micro manages like a professor does hes students. - Ideas get shutdown almost always. Usually with a public rant infront of the whole company. - Lunch time around the kitchen table is all about political rants and complaints. - Extemely "bullying" culture - Again, zero compentation. In all my years, there was 1 salary raise of a pathetic 3%. - Technical decisions, like project you will be working on, changes faster then the CEO's mood swings. You never know what will change in the beginning of you week. Similar to the lack of administrative systems, there is zero product development systems in place. - The CEO will attack your social media within the office infront of all employees. - There is no CTO, CFO, COO, or anything related that can challenge the CEO's tyrannical authority. - I'll stop here for now, but the list continues, believe me.
