Sometimes healthcare is just healthcare….

Amazing residents. Competitive pay, Director of Nursing is kind and supportive.

Where do I begin. Terrible management unless you are in the "in" crowd. Poor accountability. Residents do NOT get the care they should be provided, often sitting or laying in urine for 8+hours. Proper supervision NOT provided during mechanical transfers. Staffing is always an issue, yet management, or coorperate, prefer to staff according to numbers, not accuity, leading to high staff burn out. Feel as though residents are mostly seen for the money they will bring in. Many nurses and CNA's lack basic care knowledge or choose not to use it. Staff and their belongings smell of THC(and its not the residents alone) on a repeated daily basis. Foul language in the presence of residents. NO work life balance unless you prefer to leave a mess for the next shift. It is sad that the community knows if they need skilled care there are few places in the area they can go. Accolade has the monopoly and they know it and it shows that they are "for profit". The list could go on. Never saw or met Moe but would have loved to.
