Pros
Was able to set my own hours; had to work some evenings (after school program)and weekends; lots of organization needed for planning of one elementary after school program, and two school Native Clubs; learned a lot going to various conferences about effective grant writing, activities/events for the students; always love to see students succeed and learn about their culture.
Cons
Other that a couple of admin at the board office, many times did not feel supported by individual building admin; saw several ways in which my department could work with classes--
