Pros

Science employees are genuinely exceptional (eg: hardworking, smart, collaborative, and deeply passionate about our mission). The company has achieved significant milestones over the past year. Having been with the company for a few years, it's starting to feel real that we're building something meaningful that could make a major impact.

Cons

Some team leads have abrasive communication approaches that can come across as condescending rather than constructive. This creates friction that undermines the otherwise positive culture and can be demotivating.

Pros

- Great Views - Pet friendly - Food Catering and late night food delivery - Great smart , collaborative hardworking people to work with (mostly). - You will be pushed to your limits and learn more than you could ever learn in a short period of time. At some point this becomes unsustainable and the ROI is low, at that point take the skills and experience somewhere else.

Cons

- Yes, all of the negative reviews are true and probably underplayed. - HR does go around asking people to leave good reviews in here. - Working nights, weekends, long hours is the norm. - Not family friendly. If you've got children this probably won't work for you, if you are young and motivated this is perfect. - It doesn't matter how hard you work or how many hours you put in, you can be fired without a notice any day, depending on the CEOs mood. - The CEO believes he knows more about software/hardware than the experts in the teams but everyone is afraid to speak up. His decisions and understanding of these domains are questionable. - A lot of noise but little signal. You are always sprinting for the next milestone like its the end of the world, unfortunately the failure rate pretty much takes over any meaningful progress. You can spend 3 months building a product and by the end of month 3 someone decides to trash it all. - A lot of senseless yelling from upper management. - Favoritism across the board.
