Pros

Good Salary & Hike: Competitive salary structure with decent annual appraisals. Employee Benefits: Offers strong employee benefits like health insurance, PF, paid leave, etc. Early Log-off When Work is Less: On light workload days, you may get free earlier, giving you more personal time. Skill Development: Enhances your medical knowledge, analytical thinking, and documentation skills. Structured Work: Tasks are usually well-defined and follow a pattern, which adds predictability and comfort. Remote/Hybrid Options (if applicable): Some companies offer work-from-home options, especially for experienced employees.

Cons

Workload Can Vary Unpredictably: When work is less, sometimes you’re expected to stretch the day or stay logged in longer, which can be frustrating. Repetitive Nature: Tasks can become monotonous over time, especially if you’re doing similar types of summaries daily. Strict Quality and TAT Pressure: There’s often tight Turnaround Time (TAT) and accuracy expectations, leading to pressure and micro-monitoring. Limited Growth Path (in some setups): Growth can be slow if the company doesn’t have strong learning and development or promotion policies. Eye Strain & Fatigue: Long hours in front of a screen reading medical records can cause eye strain and mental fatigue.
