Pros
There was a bonus system, but while the production manager received a bonus equivalent to one month's salary, the blue-collar workers received very little in bonuses. I never received any bonuses during my time working there. The factory has transportation for employees to commute to work and a cafeteria is available. The factory provides additional support for public transportation costs in areas inaccessible to its own service vehicles.
Cons
It was a company where I earned 500 TL more than the minimum wage. I've worked with water, oil, acid, and chemicals. Because I wasn't given protective goggles, acid gloves, or an acid mask, acid splashed on my face and hands. I had an accident and suffered health problems because of an employee. Even though I had a workplace accident because of the employee who caused it, they still gave me another workplace safety training session. The meals provided for the night shift are inadequate. The working environment is bad. I worked two shifts, day and night, but I had to walk 10 minutes to the factory every day because the factory's shuttle dropped me off far away at night. Working at night, especially in winter, is difficult because, in addition to the cold air, cold air comes in from everywhere because the windows are open. I was being monitored by camera while working at night. An employee who obtained permission from their department head was dismissed without compensation, with the department head's signature indicating that they had been absent from work without notice.
