Pros
Commenced operations as a new Government Department on 1 January 2023 and merged together all (or most), customer facing services from other Departments, including DPC, DJCS, DJPR. Young leadership team trying to emulate Service NSW and reengineer Victoria's customer service in State Government.
Cons
Lack of sufficient budget to manage the desired transformations. Some of the new leadership team from private practice and seem unfamiliar with the 3 arms of government structure, thinking Ministers are their bosses. Lots of mismashed processes at the one corporate level, naturally.
