Pros

Great managers! You are able to speak directly to the GM if an issue comes up. You can even message the CEO, which is unheard of at many companies. There is always someone willing to help. The pay is quite good for the position. Very easy office work. Answer phones, emails, and texts. Greet clients, book reservations, smile. You get an employee discount on all services. Employees can bring their dogs to work. Great office hours and major holidays off for the FOH team. Little to no stress! The customers are great and we all love and want what’s best for the dogs.

Cons

Benefits could be improved. They are limited because it is a small business. They prefer to hire externally instead of promoting from within. You’re not really able to move up from your position. Raises are hard to come by, even when you’re a great worker. They will tell you one thing, but your paycheck says another.

Pros

Cute dogs Some cool people that work there but most of the good ones are already gone Decent pay for apprentice job

Cons

Extremely poor management The space is too large for the number of employees vs. dogs. All yards should have multiple people and some barely have any supervision High employee turnover rate and poor training for new employees. Poor planning for training with lack of space and hands-on help. Overall poor structure to the training dept. and even the other departments Lots of dogs during busy season and untrained people without lots of dog experience calls for a bad mix The higher you get in management, the more cult-like it is. The CEO wants "yes men" and pretends to value you as long as you follow her every word and don't point out blatant issues (which there are lots of) Supervisors and managers will tell you things are between you and them and turn around and blab to the GM Fake people overall If your gut tells you not to work here after the interview, listen to it! I wish I had.
