Extremely toxic work environment. This was one of the very few jobs where I used to cry in my car after my shift and before I walked back into my home. They work you like crazy but also treat you badly. I felt disrespected and hated the workplace politics. Some people were fine but some others at work were the most toxic people I have ever worked with! Also, I have never cleaned and wiped any clinic floors (including their bathrooms) and they expected this task to be very normal from medical assistant. The only task for MAs pertaining to cleaning is after a patient has left the room annd you wipe down surfaces and restocking etc not cleaning the entire clinic after one’s shift is done, taking the trash out and wiping down bathrooms!!! Also, this was not something shared at the interview, so basically a completely misrepresentation of the job duties.
