Pros
This is a well managed company so you can expect stability if you have a central function. This is also an incredibly large company which can have the benefits of a very wide range of opportunities.
Fantastic work-life balance. I can't stress that enough, it has been a major asset.
Cons
Bonuses will go away sometimes to keep the company profitable, as will your friends' jobs if your department has overgrown, but as your department matures you can expect reliability and focus on the job itself.
At a very large company, your job will probably never be terribly central to the company as a whole. You will be a cog in a section of cogs, which isn't for everyone.
