Where to even start? If you don’t like to do any actual work, have no self respect, but are a bootlicker and yes-man, then you can stay at this company for quite a long time. The owner, Joel, is so full of himself and just an overall miserable person to interact with. No idea how he even is in the position he is in, it’s definitely not deserved regardless of how often he will tell you he “grew up in the business”. I guess shout out to daddy for the free ride, right? Congrats bud. When working there, I saw great workers get fired for insignificant reasons - most of the time it was clear that there were problems in departments that are solely the responsibility of management, so to make it look like they are “solving” a “problem” , they fire someone so management can go, “See boss! I’m doing by job!”. At the same time, the laziest employees could keep their job as long as they pretend to embrace the “culture” and pass blame to those working below them. I cannot wait for this company to die so I can dance on its grave. Fake people. Fake CULTure. Nonsense values. I am so, so happy that I am no longer with this company. Avoid at all costs or drink the kool aid and join their cult if you have no self respect.
