I was part of a project where we were integrating a new bank onto the payment network. The testing phase involved running through hundreds of scenarios to make sure every edge case was covered. Some of the scenarios felt overly specific at first but when my lead explained what could go wrong if we missed them it made complete sense. By the end of the project I had a much better grip on how payment flows actually work. It was one of the most useful things I have done here in terms of learning.

Testing phases for integrations are thorough and can stretch over weeks.
