Pros
The market is heating up. The acquisition of the main competitor (DX) by Atlassian for $1B (!!) a few months ago put a spotlight on our category and also on Jellyfish. The product is mature and also leading the AI measurement race to give engineering leadership the right insights.
Remote work (for those outside Boston) is the norm, and everyone is great at it. The majority of senior executives have families so they understand the need for spending time with your kids, providing good work-life balance.
Work is interesting, you are at the very bleeding edge of AI transformation and learning every day. If you work here, you'll know everything (whether you want it or not) about AI and how it is changing software development. Great learning opportunity.
Cons
It's a startup that has had to quickly adapt to AI, and the product is undergoing a major transformation. Competition is heating up so we can't rest on our wins and there are aggressive growth targets.
Tight budgets for marketing, sales, everything basically. Not that they are skimping but you have to make a case for spending on stuff. Expected at this stage but may put some people off.
No office to go to other than Boston.
Most customers love Jellyfish, but churn does happen.
Comp is average, but typical for startup at this size.
