There were lots of hours available to walk dogs, so pay was ok. You get lots of exercise and time outside
Cons
The company owner is emotionally charged and demeaning, very annoying and persistent when you aren’t available at her beck and call. She will also go against your contract (that she writes herself) and will ask you to pay for the replacement of somebody’s entire door lock if you happen to misplace a client’s key/fob, despite the contract stating you are responsible to replace just the key/fob. The owner will ask to withhold your funds until the client gets a price quote for their new door lock. She also will propose holding onto half your funds until then, unfortunately exercising illegal routes and will bully you into believing it doesn’t have to be written on your contract. Be very careful if you are employed by this woman. I was not payed my last period over a month after I had left. The labour board had to be contacted before I saw any of my money. A previous employee of hers had even poached her own clients after leaving the company, I can see the respect goes both ways here.
