Poor communication between upper management and staff - Practice Manager Clearwave Mental Health Employee Review

Pros

Paid well for the most part

Cons

Staff safety and well-being not taken seriously. Workload became unmanageable quickly. Expectations for performance were unrealistic. Feels like a corporation, not a “family” practice. Executive team plays favorites a lot. Instead of making sure everyone was taken care of at the existing locations, they just open new sites over and over again. It’s a really poor business model.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience working at Clearwave. The team is collaborative, supportive, and truly aligned around delivering high-quality care and service. Leadership is approachable, communicative, and open to feedback, which creates a strong and transparent culture. Clearwave is growing quickly, which brings exciting opportunities to take on new challenges, build skills, and make a meaningful impact. It’s an especially great environment for people who are proactive, adaptable, and motivated to grow.

Cons

Like any growing organization, things can move quickly, but that also keeps the work engaging and rewarding. Overall, it’s a positive, mission-driven place to work with a team that genuinely cares.

Pros

Hard working and friendly staff. Opening new locations and growing

Cons

No Health Benefits until after 3 months. Need to be on top of emails/chats/texts at all times 24/7 or you're 'behind' Poor amenities and cheapo/no breakroom offerings for staff. A lot of gossip and clicky staff. Its a family-run business and it's like a mafia pyramid structure. The senior executive team are all solely family: CEO, CFO/CLO, Sr. Doctor, the Property Manager, HR.... all family members. They try to downplay that because they know it looks bad ...... aaand it is! So be prepared for all that come with that. Vendors all hate working with them because they will eventually push them the wrong way or have some issue. CEO, CFO and HR all work remotely. Micro-managing.... remotely.
