Pros

You do get to work from home.

Cons

Management are bad, HR poor, one person will end up doing the work of three causing workloads to be heavier than they should be. Some great people but I worry they overlooked some potentially talented cadidiates who would have worked at the place I'm favour of those who shouldn't have been there. Career progression was limited. Well it was for me anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you valued the flexibility of working from home during your time with us. We’re also sorry to hear that other parts of your experience were challenging. No colleague should feel unsupported, overstretched or unclear about their development opportunities. We are progressing our career framework this year to increase visibility of career pathways for our people. We want our colleagues to have thriving careers and are putting more emphasis on internal mobility to recognise and reward the very talented people within our teams. We are sorry that the management and the HR teams did not live up to your expectations. Satisfaction in managers was our top strength in our last colleague engagement survey, so we do know that this is not the case across LRQA but we do continue to invest in leadership development programmes. We are putting wellbeing at the heart of our operation this year. This means we are encouraging all colleagues to work with their leaders on prioritising their work and being realistic about what can be achieved. No one should be completing the work of three people. We want our colleagues to have good work/life balance and to thrive at work. Therefore, we need everyone to take responsibility for setting boundaries and speaking up if they feel overwhelmed. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and for the contribution you made during your time at LRQA. We wish you all the best in your future career.

Pros

I come to work every day excited to work with an amazing set of colleagues, an impressive set of clients and brands, and I'm proud of the solutions we provide to our clients to help them manage their risks - from ESG, Responsible Sourcing, Cybersecurity, Food Safety, and QHSE just to name a few. Being part of the LRQA team means every employee has a voice, every idea is welcome, and collaboration is key. If you're a driven professional looking to make a difference, focused on delivering results, with high energy who is proactive, thrives while working at pace, and excited to work with an amazing team, LRQA is a great organization to work for.

Cons

Work-life balance is encouraged but can be a challenge because we have so much to achieve. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to set and stick to their working hours.
