Pros
Aside from a few coworkers who were kind and professional, I honestly didn’t gain much from my time at this company. There was very little support, and the work environment made it hard to develop any new skills.
Cons
I worked at Assisi pet care and experienced an unhealthy level of micromanagement. Every task I did was timed and closely monitored—from the moment I started to when I finished. This created a very stressful and unproductive atmosphere.
I was denied a simple request to change desks after repeatedly feeling mentally drained from sitting directly next to a manager who constantly scrutinized my work. Additionally, although my contract allowed remote work, I was discouraged from working from home, and my requests were often denied without reason.
Overall, the environment lacked trust and flexibility, which had a serious impact on my mental well-being. If you value autonomy, respect, or a healthy work culture, I would strongly advise exploring other options.
