Worst company to work for - Assistant Support Worker Nua Healthcare Employee Review

This is the absolute worst job I’ve ever had, it completely drained the life out of me and made me never want to work in social care again. From making you travel to Naas for 5 days training which they refuse to reimburse for, to some absolutely awful incompetent staff. I worked with so many people who could not drive which meant anyone with a driving licence was driving for up to 10 or 11 hours a day around the country with service users majority of the time with no purpose just driving aimlessly to keep them out of the house. And the staff who can’t drive will happily sit in the passenger seat on their phones for the whole day. You are expected to work ridiculous amounts of hours with extremely difficult service users which is so exhausting and draining and you literally get zero supoort. Also so much fighting and arguing between childish staff in the house I was in it feels like being at school again.
