- At Birdsey you can bring ideas forward and people will act interested in the moment, but nothing ever actually happens.
- Follow ups get brushed off with phrases like "still thinking about it" or "we will revisit," which is just a polite way of saying it is dead.
- this is not occasional, it is constant. It happened to me and to others at my level in the same repeating cycle.
- The organization already seems fixed in place and uninterested in real change, so suggestions get treated like background noise.
- Most people figure this out after months and stop trying altogether.
- You end up just going through the motions, knowing your input does not really matter.
