Pros
Staff culture is strong, with people working remotely but feeling like good friends, There's a staff-driven push for self-care both for the clinicians and for our own staff.
Mission is so needed and people turn to MCN as leaders in this space. Effective training and TA, and care coordination.
Cons
There are growing pains. The new-ish CEO Kim Nolte approaches things differently than people had before and she takes a more CEO role than MCN used to have.
There is definitely more work than time. Uneven in terms of work/life balance. Some people are super overworked and running ragged while others are just done with work at 5 no matter what their deadlines are. Both approaches make it hard on everyone else!
Typical in terms of nonprofit compensation and benefits. Kim Nolte put MCN through a consultant program to make sure the salaries match average nonprofit salaries.
