Pros

Really well organised and laid out onboarding. A whole plan for the week for me and time with every department to go through everything. There is a really good culture with all the staff I have worked with so far.

Pros

The clients I had were lovely as were their families. Also my supervisor was easy to communicate with, schedules were always the same for me. Got to help train up new carers for clients I already had Super gratifying job I did love it

Cons

Pay rate- based on the amount of work you do I think the pay rate should definitely increase. Time between calls- you could be 45 minutes away from a call that you have to be at in 20 minutes. Poor communication with office staff on occasion. Lack of support for carers who are going through difficult times with clients I.E not enough staff to help if a client all of a sudden becomes bedbound or really ill, no after supports for carers if client passes away. Lack of communication between management staff and office staff ie if a client is hospitalised or passes away a lot of the time the carer has to ring the office as the client is still on their schedule. Came home everyday for months on the verge of tears due to difficult situations and no one checked up on me inside or outside of work.
