- Locum’s book shifts via an app, much easier than before. - No problems with payments since use of the app. - Hourly rate is ok. - interesting to work in different practices, friendly teams in most places. - freedom to choose shifts.
Cons
- Locum use will be strictly reduced in next financial year, no security. - permanent roles in Medivet are much less attractive. The push to work with skeleton staff numbers affects employees massively. - corporations are destroying the veterinary sector without remorse.
