Pros
Collaborative culture, strong work-life balance, and leadership that genuinely values employee input, performance, and professional growth. Hospitals maintain individuality instead of being forced into a one-size-fits-all corporate structure, which creates a more authentic environment and better long-term decision making.
Cons
Because hospitals maintain their own identities and operational differences, there can be a steeper learning curve when trying to learn all the teams, workflows, personalities, and nuances across the organization. It can feel overwhelming at first while building those relationships and knowledge bases.
Benefits were more expensive than my previous company but to me the change was worth it for the better culture.
