Pros
I have been working at Bishopsgate law coming up to 6 years. I feel I am able to give a true and honest reflection of my experience working at this company. During my time here, I have seen the company grow from strength to strength without loosing its key values and purpose. Through a supportive team and opportunities available, I have been able to progress from conveyancer to achieving a training contract to become a solicitor. I couldn’t have wished for a better company to grown in: I feel extremely fortunate and lucky that I found Bishopsgate law so early in my career. As cliche as this sounds my experience of everyone I work with on a day to day basis is nothing but a delight. All employees from the reception team, HR, accounts team, the client care team, IT team, paralegals, conveyancer, solicitors and management are fantastic! They all play their part excellently in order for the company to achieve its goals: from supporting each other to most importantly showing kindness. Being here since its inception, I have seen the company expand over three offices. Bishopsgate Law has so much to offer if you are willing to put in the effort and work with integrity. Some key points: - Fantastic opportunity to learn and develop and grow your career what ever stage you are in life. There are sessions on most weeks depending on your field to tackle areas of law where there may have been changes or even where employee may have areas which they would like further assistance with. - Culture is like a family, everyone I have come across is really supportive and kind - I think this is one of the most important points. As this can really make a difference to your wellbeing and happiness, if you are stuck in a company where this is lacking then it can really can have an impact on your mental health. - Forward thinking- the company really tries hard to work with technology to make it as affective as possible to assist employees with their roles. - Very competitive salaries and bonus structures in place! This can really help as we all know it can be difficult with cost of living gone up. There are opportunities to speak to your manager at intervals in the year to discuss your pay and also see what you may need to do to get to the next level. - Depending on your role there are opportunities to work remote. - There is no micro managing! If you are successful in gaining employment at Bishopsgate Law then remember that they have employed you because they trust you and have faith in you that you can do the job, that being said and they are willing to be there to help you if you need any help. - Holidays - 22 days annual leave plus a day off on your birthday. I can keep going on but I am sure you get the point. My experience working at Bishopsgate law has been nothing short of excellent and this is my honest truth. I understand this is a company but I really have an emotional attachment to Bishopsgate law due to all the factor listed above plus many more. I couldn’t ever see my self working anywhere else. To the everyone at Bishopsgate law from all the employees to management, thank you for making this such a lovely place to work, I am very grateful I was given an opportunity to flourish here and I will look forward to grow with the company for many years to come!
